About PYB

Portland YouthBuilders (PYB) is a nonprofit organization that provides educational, vocational, and leadership development programs for low-income men and women aged 17-24. Founded in Portland, Oregon in 1993, PYB is part of a network of 195 YouthBuild programs around the country. Each year, we serve an average of 100 people in the greater metropolitan area from our newly renovated facility in outer Southeast Portland. Please see our Programs page to learn more.

Portland YouthBuilders' efforts are supported by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the Corporation for National and Community Service, and other public and private partners and funders. PYB is accredited by the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools and is a high school diploma-granting organization.
